 Why I Started
 Fellow Traveler Therapy

& EMDR Consulting

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference."

-Robert Frost

I decided on the name Fellow Traveler Therapy & EMDR Consulting, PLLC for a couple of reasons. One, because I don't claim to have life all figured out as a therapist. I'm a mom, a wife, a friend, a sister, a daughter and a human being that is on a journey of growing and evolving for the better. Second, I chose this name because of my passion for travel. I love planning trips and being out in nature makes me feel alive and at peace.

Using my clinical expertise, I'd love the opportunity to help you grow as I walk along side of you as a "fellow traveler."

Lesley Craton, LPC, MS, EMDR Consultant

I see myself as a fellow traveler, walking along side of you on your journey of  healing. I utilize evidence  based treatment modalities (EMDR and DBT to name a couple) through a trauma- informed lens. As a "fellow traveler," I collaborate with each client in a nonjudgemental, compassionate and authentic manner.

“I have come to the conclusion that human beings are born with an innate capacity to triumph over trauma. I believe not only that trauma is curable, but that the healing process can be a catalyst for profound awakening—a portal opening to emotional and genuine spiritual transformation. "-Peter Levine

“Happily ever after simply means that both partners are known, valued, accepted for who they are and who they are becoming. The goal is to be able to love your partner more deeply each and every year you’re together.”
― John M. Gottman
